A Praise to Bowls

I have 337 videos under my "Watch Later" tab on YouTube. How did this happen? I could probably remove some of it without watching and I'm sure there are some I've already watched but forgot to remove. Still though... 337? What was I thinking? It would take me more than five hours if I spend one minute for each video just to take a look and try to remember why I saved them and decide if they're worth watching. And I know there are some hour-long interviews in there that I definitely want to watch. Oh, God...

Are you one of those people who is addicted to social media? I'm not (I have other addictions...). I don't use Twitter or Instagram. I only use Facebook and YouTube, but I'm starting to like Quora. I think I spend around 10 minutes on Facebook each day. I rarely post, once every two months or so. I spend much more time on YouTube, one hour a day... I actually learn a lot, so it's alright. Is my blog considered as social media? I don't know, but I spend lots and lots of time writing these posts.

Have you ever thought about how the water boils? You put the pot over the fire or turn on your kettle and it's all quiet at first. Then, the water starts making an unpleasant sound, which gets louder and louder. Finally, the water starts boiling and you're left with a deep satisfying sound. I love it.

I love cheese, olives, nuts, berries and yogurt. A bowl full of plain yogurt with blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries on top... the perfect snack. Not that I do snacks any more. I've started intermittent fasting and keto diet as well. If you haven't heard about these things, definitely check them out. I might write a post about my experience once I spend enough time living like this.

I contend that a medium-sized bowl is the perfect utensil or tableware or glassware, whatever you call it. Because you could hold it between your hands and feel the warmth of your meal. That makes it the cosiest tableware of them all. Now, all you need is to take your bowl, get under a blanket and start reading your book or watching an episode of your favourite TV series. No, you need one more thing... Someone special to get under the same blanket as you. Then you have everything.

And I think it's now fitting to listen to this music, The Prayer.
