Frank and Nadia

Have you met Frank? He was an extremely rich guy. He had properties everywhere. Then, things went wrong and he lost everything he once owned. But he didn't just lose them, he lost them to Nadia. Kind and compassionate Nadia... He'd really thought that she was different. He couldn't be more wrong. She just took everything and moved on with her life, leaving a wreckage behind. Frank didn't know which was worse, losing everything or Nadia's treachery. He looked ahead and saw nothing but misery. So he did the only thing left for him to do; he told Nadia to stop looking so pleased with herself and swore never to play Monopoly with her again!

Life would be a lot easier if we could just say: 'I'm not playing anymore' when things went terribly wrong, don't you think? Some things only matter while you're still playing. The only way out is to stop playing. A game inside a game and inside...

  1. Simple and good reminder to all of us who are playing game.

If you use facebook, then you care about facebook until you stop using facebook..

If you start to not care about your exams then can you continue to play that game?

If you start to not care about money, then can you earn money?

You need another, bigger "game" to play.

"The life is a game which is won by only those who are believers and doing good things" Aliya Izzetbegovic.

I ask Allah for understanding the importance of the biggest game(!) that we are playing.

    1. Some games, we could stop playing. Others, we have to play, but knowing that they're just games. This doesn't mean they're unimportant, though.

And don't stop using Facebook, Ismail. Otherwise, who's going to share my posts? :P

  2. He is the same man (but little insider) when you see him (another 'I' in myself) who do not care about anything (just the role that playing in life). If he is another 'I' then this is not playing game. So what is it?
İngilizce anlatamayacağım sanırım. Hayatı oyun olarak görmek güzel fakat oyuna çevirmek başka.. İsmailin işaret ettiği şey oyuna çevirmek gibi. Oyuna çevirmeden önce oyun olarak görebilmeli. Sonra oyun olarak göreni görmeli..

    1. I didn't even understand the Turkish :) You speak in riddles, Guncu. By 'turning life into a game', do you mean 'not caring about anything'? So you mean that we shouldn't lose ourselves by following our greed; but at the same time, we should care, because some things in life are important?
